Mayuram Mudra : This mudra is formed when the ring finger is bend to join the thumb and all the remaining fingers are joined together.

  Mayoorasyae lathayam cha | Shakunae Vamanae thatha|| Alakasyapa nayanae | Lalata thilakeshu cha ||
Nadhyudhakasya Nikshepae|Shastra vadae prasidhakae||Evammartheshu Yujyantae|Mayoora kara bhavanah ||
Shlokam Meaning

  1.        Mayoorasya  – Peacock
  2.        Shakuna – Bird
  3.        Vamana – Vomiting
  4.        Alakasyapa – Moving the hair / decorating the forehead
  5.        Nayana –Eyes
  6.        Lalata Thilaka – Putting thilakam in the forehead
  7.        Nadhyudhakasya Nikshepae – Sprinkling water
  8.        Shastra vadae- Discussing the shastras
  9.        Prasidhakae – Show very famous
